YMSWWC’s Awesome F**cking Guide to the 2008 Bowl Season! (With pictures this year)

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on December 18, 2008

cheerleaders

This would have been posted earlier but I kinda sorted screwed up and forgot to send Joel the bowl schedule. Yeah, my bad, I’m a dick. Whatever. Anywho let’s go over this year bowl schedule and mine and Joel’s picks and then you call your bookie.

This year there is a smorgasbord of crap-tastic games to choose from! Yay!

Non-BCS Bowls

EagleBank Bowl
When: Dec. 20, 11 a.m., ESPN
Where: Washington
Who: Navy vs. Wake Forest

Joel says: Anchors aweigh. I really wish Navy would have beat Notre Dame again this year. Wait, this is a real bowl game???

Thomas says: I pick Navy because I’m sick and damn tired of hearing how the Wake Forest is so good. Blah blah blah. Is this bowl game being funded by any of the bailout money by the way? Read the rest of this entry »

College Football Week 14 is in the books & here’s what I learned

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on November 30, 2008

Yes folks I decided to take some time away from writing and enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you had a pleasant and happy Thanksgiving.

I dub yesterday as disappointment day with the exception of Tennessee. I don’t mean to gloat, well…actually I do but this is the worst team that Tennessee has even placed on the field and yet Kentucky still couldn’t beat them. The streak lives on because Tennessee is Tennessee and Kentucky is Kentucky.

I’ll have a full write up on that game tomorrow.

Notre Dame put up a fight against USC at least until kickoff occurred. The Irish kept interrupting the Trojans’ pregame warmups which resulted in punches thrown and the Po Po intervening. Of course in the end Southern Cal proved what everyone knows and that is Notre Dame is a horrid team. Next stop on the Brian Kelly rumor-mill…why I’m betting Notre Dame.

Georgia seriously screws my picks up and loses to Georgia Tech.

Same old South Carolina, they still can’t beat their arch rivals the Clemson Tigers even though Clemson has an interim head coach. Hopefully this win will lead to Clemson offering the job to Dabo Swinney.

The Ole Ball (Sac) Coach is plenty mad after this embarrassment which lead Spurrier to degrade his players even further publicly. Honestly I’m wondering if he has lost this team. The reason I say that is because at the end of the game South Carolina tried to start a fight instead of shaking hands…classless.

Florida did what everyone thought they would do and beat up Florida State.

With Boston College and Virginia Tech both winning yesterday it looks like a rematch is set for the ACC title game. The same game that didn’t sell 50% of the tickets last year. Joy…

Alabama ends the Auburn winning streak they had against Bama…rather soundly at that. Time will tell if Auburn is foolish enough to fire Coach Turbeville.

No Rose bowl for you Oregon State, unless by some miracle UCLA can upset Southern Cal. Oregon State got hammered by the ugly uniform wearing Ducks of Oregon.

Oklahoma and Oklahoma State was a closer game than what the score indicates and it was a great game. Hats off to both teams.

Oh My God! The End Is Near! There Wasn’t an Update this Morning!

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on November 18, 2008

woman

That’s right people there certainly wasn’t an update this morning. You see I also serve on as the president of my condo association. Last night was a rather lengthy board meeting.

With that being said let me say this:

Carl you’re an asshole and you talk to much and Cindy if you wasn’t so slutty looking you could be doable.

People blame those two, I just mentioned because of them I over slept this morning leaving barely enough time to make it to work on time.

Now let’s get to business. I promise I’ll have a better update tomorrow morning unless Cindy cleans her self up and decides to blow me.

Has anyone notice just how frighteningly ugly the Oregon Ducks uniforms are getting? Are those wings made out of machetes? Are they some kind of mutant genetically modified super killing machine duck?

And WTF is this? This was taken in the stands of this weekend’s past Auburn game. And he’s the cutest girl at Auburn. (Sorry Auburn fans I had to) Are the pony tails real human hair taken from his victims?

Speaking of Auburn, Dennis Fran “The Fraud” Franchione is defending Tommy Tuberville.

“Tommy Tuberville is a great coach, and I don’t think anything should happen to him,” Franchione said. “He’s beaten Alabama six times in a row.”

Since this is a very short update I’ll let you know that Isaac Stockton will not be denied his ball!

Skip around to the 18 second mark to see what I call a “It’s concentration bitch!” catch. When he get hit you’re going to think “Why is Thomas posting a snuff film?”

It will shake your bowels.

College Football Week 4 is in the books & here’s what I learned

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on September 21, 2008

So far this season is not like last season but so far so good nonetheless.

Tennessee sucks! Wait I already knew that…expect some more on this subject as the week progresses.

Georgia adds to the PAC 10 non conference woes by beating Arizona State with ease and Oregon did not help matters much by losing to Boise State. Basically everyone in the PAC 10 is playing for second place behind SoCal. Anyone see the awesome dive Moreno did to score the first TD? However he should have received a flag for celebration.

To see it live was awesome.

Missouri failed to impress against Buffalo.

Texas and Texas Tech. both flex some Big 12 muscle yesterday by trouncing their opponents.

And The Tide of Alabama continues to roll however credit 14 points of the 49 they scored to great defense.

South Florida fails to impress.

Not so fast Auburn fans and haters…they do have an offense after all but they lost nevertheless. Les “Big Hat Little Penis” Miles might be at least the 2nd best coach in the SEC. This was easily the best game of the week.

South Carolina gets by 1-AA Wofford…Spurrier can’t be happy right now.

Ohio State is the most over ranked in the top 25, Penn State is the team to beat in the Big Eleven Ten.

BYU is easily this years BCS buster…but let’s not forget about Utah.

East Carolina…fails…but Skip Holtz is still a hot commodity.

Florida State’s offense is simply lost and Wake Forest is the team to bear in the ACC.

Butch Davis better go back to the drawing board because North Carolina isn’t there yet.

Georgia Tech wrecked Miss State and Sly Croom.

Hell has frozen over because right now Vandy is sitting atop the SEC East.

Kansas let’s not forget about them.

Clemson got some frustration out by beating up on SC State.

Fresno State…is still ranked for a reason.

Hey Notre Dame still sucks imagine that.

Pittsburgh pick up your Big East flag & wave it proudly…just like last year Iowa sucks.

Look at Maryland 3-1 and might be ranked come later today.

Boston College could also be ranked as well.

Syracuse actually wins a game, of course it was against a 1-AA opponent but a win is a win.

Cincinnati is still looking like the team to beat in the Big East.

Miami will be scary good by the end of the year.

Either Kevin Hart Attempted the Greatest Recruiting Scam Ever or a Number of D-I Schools have Recruiting Officials Impersonating Them.

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on February 6, 2008

Meet Kevin Hart a 6-foot-5, 290-pound left guard — listed as a two-star prospect by Rivals.com in this years recruiting class. Fernley high school offensive lineman Kevin Hart was all set to commit to Oregon. But on Friday, during an assembly in front of the entire school, Hart chose California over the Pac-10 rival Ducks.

“They really won me over,” Hart, who will be the first Fernley athlete to receive a full scholarship to a Division I school directly out of high school, said of the Golden Bears. “Coach (Jeff) Tedford and I talked a lot, and the fact that the head coach did most of the recruiting of me kind of gave me the real personal experience.”

With Cal and Oregon hats sitting on a table in front of him on Friday, Hart explained what his decision came down to and then donned the Cal cap to cheers from classmates and his parents and grandparents sitting in the front row.

His parents and teachers were happy for him. They could not wait till he got out to Berkley to experience the college life, start smoking pot & and only call when money was needed.

Something strange happened. Less than 10 hours after Hart proclaimed Cal was his college of choice questions was raised. Questions like when are you leaving? Will you miss us? And since when did Cal even offer you a scholarship since they have never heard you? You know the basics.

By Sunday neither Hart’s father, Richard, nor Fernley Coach Mark Hodges would confirm the status of any offers. Oregon, Nevada, Illinois and Oklahoma State were said to be other finalists. Both men also declined to comment in depth on the entire situation because, as Hodges said, it is under “law enforcement investigation.”

Wait the Po Po was called? You mean Jeff Tedford has someone impersonating him? Maybe he “blacks out” and forget he recruits these kids.

“This is involving law enforcement and may involve other departments, other than the NCAA, that are bigger than local,” said Hodges, “I would love to tell you everything I know, but I can’t at this time and I’m not even sure what I know. Up until the other night I was a happy man.”

“The NCAA is involved because Cal and Oregon are involved,” said NIAA executive director Eddie Bonine, “It could be that someone was impersonating those schools.”

Un”fucking”believable!!! Remember according to Hart himself he and Jeff talked a lot. So it’s obvious Jeff Tedford was high from his players supply. Hart turned down offers from Oregon, Nevada, Illinois and Oklahoma State.

But both Oregon and Cal say Hart who? Who is this nut job?

“He was never in our system,” Dave Williford, Oregon assistant athletic director for media services, said.

Basically the kid is a pathological liar. In fact Hart’s school district can’t even find any school that offered him a scholarship.

This kid is psycho and apparently is doing everything to make himself look good in front of his peers and parents.

Phil Fulmer GO SIGN THIS BOY NOW. Our recruiting class is sad. We need someone this crazy. If he’s willing to attempt to pull this scam off then imagine how hard he could work to become a starter.

Of course you won’t be able to trust him but considering the 4 arrests lately it seems you can’t trust any of the players. Get him now before Nick Saban signs him, you fat non-recruiting bastard.

God Must Hate West Virginia

Riding the short bus to glory!!!

God must either hate West Virginia or he shows them love by making them suffer though the fact that Missouri jumped them to become the #1 in the latest BCS poll. That benevolent father, what a prankster.

The Revelations After a Saturdays Worth of Football Week 13

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on November 25, 2007

What a weekend, what a season, I’ll sad when it’s over.

What I’m not sad about is that God Spurrier is on his first five game losing streak. To be a South Carolina fan you have to enjoy and understand the song “Little Lies” by Fleetwood Mac. Here for your virtual listening pleasure is the key verse.

“Oh, no, no you can’t disguise
(You can’t disguise, no you can’t disguise)
Tell me lies
Tell me sweet little lies”

How does one go from #6 in the country to a probable no bowl season? Smoke & mirrors my friends. Of course that Spurrier to A&M rumor is still there…by the way A&M hasn’t contacted the AD at Auburn, yet.

How is that Vandy can give Tennessee and Georgia all that they want at home, and then roll over and play dead for Wake Forest?

Tennessee makes it to the SEC championship game, who would have thunk it? Especially playing prevent defense that allowed a sizable lead to shrink and force OT…Chavis you’re an idiot.

UCLA actually become bowl eligible by beating Oregon…oh how the mighty have fallen.

It took OT for North Carolina to beat Duke? WTF?

Four straight loses for Bama. Six straight loses to arch rival Auburn. Will bricks be thrown though Saban’s windows?

Speaking of Bama…remember the textbook 5 and how the Bammers said it would only be a one game suspension? Well, they finally played yesterday. One game turned into four games. Why? What’s being covered up? Tide Druid you must account for this. Enlighten us all. Please.

If Mark Mangino was a smurf, he would be “High Cholesterol Fatty Smurf”

Chase Daniel showed why he’s a Heisman candidate.

Louisiana-Monroe became bowl eligible yesterday…they should Bama a thank you card.

So I profess on this day 11/25/07

The Revelations After a Saturdays Worth of Football Week 10

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on November 4, 2007

Another great weekend for games and two more undefeated go down to cause chaos in the BCS. I love it.

  • I’m not quite yet impressed with Ohio State due to the overall weakness of the Big Eleven Ten.
  • Now that the Matt Ryan Express for Heisman was derailed by Florida State it’s still basically anyones game.
  • Les Miles takes the first Saban bowl, but I’ll give Alabama credit for playing one hell of a game.
  • Thank You Oregon I hate Arizona State.
  • Oklahoma has given Texas A&M fans another reason to hate Coach Fran.
  • The ESPN 360 “Fanhood” commercial is hi-lari-ous.
  • I noticed the commentators for the Boston College-FSU talked in length about NASCAR, I guess they were bored.
  • Kansas racked up 76 points on 10 straight possessions. That’s OK Callahan just pull a “Fulmer” and stay the course.
  • Missouri denies Colorado a chance to be bowl eligible with authority.
  • Don’t let that score of the Georgia game fool you, Troy scored a TD at the last second.
  • I admit I was pulling for Mike “I’m a man I’m 40!” Gundy’s squad yesterday.
  • South Florida will go from #10 to unranked.
  • That was a nice bounce back win for Virginia yesterday.
  • Clemson is suddenly playing extremely well again.
  • Indiana is bowl eligible.
  • This is a drill I repeat this is not a drill, Ole Miss really won a game yesterday.
  • UCLA started the season ranked, they’ll be lucky if they make to a bowl game.
  • Michigan State let a victory slip away at home, thus proving they are sucking worse as the year progresses.
  • Connecticut beats Rutgers and is still undefeated in Big East play, who really gives a damn?
  • I can’t remember the last time a Steve God Spurrier team lost three in a row. Plus D-Mac rushed for an SEC record breaking amount.
  • Weis continues to break records at Notre Dame such as ending a 43 win streak against Navy also that loss is the first time the Irish have lost five at home in one season. Suck it Irish I hope Duke wins next week as well.

Since the ESPN commentators were boo hoo’ing over Houston Nutt and all the things that have plagued during the off season, and condemning the banners being flown over the Arkansas stadium I bring you another hi-lari-ous video from Device High.

So I profess on this day 11/04/07.

Colleen Bellotti and the Family Nanny Will Whip Your Ass!!!

Posted by Thomas the Terrible on October 30, 2007

This woman and her posse will kick your ass read on!

On Saturday 10/20/07, John Canzano a professional blogger and sports talk radio host in Oregon, wrote an interesting story about how Luke Bellotti, part-time kicker & the son of the Oregon Ducks football head coach, pleaded guilty to his second DUI. He brings up the point that Oregon suspended receiver Derrick Jones indefinitely for “a violation of team rules.” And a few weeks before that, the school announced, in a lengthy, detailed news release, that it was suspending the Ducks’ mascot for fighting with the Houston Cougars mascot. Mascot fights rule damn it!!!

Somehow the university didn’t mention anything about the trouble of the head coaches son until he walked into a court facing two years of probation, a $1,000 fine, the loss of his driver’s license for one year, a substance-abuse evaluation, a meeting with a victims’ impact panel and five days in jail. And because there was nothing the university could do to control that from getting out since that is public knowledge.

I think the student section isn’t to happy about Luke.

I don’t blame him for writing about that, it’s an awesome scoop. It has football players, alcohol & nepotism all rolled into one. Hell, he should have tried to sell that baby to MTV studios for production.

Now I’m not a “professional” blogger like Canzano but what he experienced this past Saturday would be a personal “Miller High Life” moment for me, but since he’s not me he’s a little rattled by it. You see while Canzano was in the press box during the USC (not South Carolina the USC that wins titles)-Oregon game, Colleen Bellotti (wife of Oregon football head coach Mike Bellotti) along with friends and family, including her son (the place kicking alcoholic), his girlfriend, and a nanny, holding an infant, and a few young children in tow claiming he “dragged her family through so much hurt and pain…” It’s not like he forced Luke to get drunk and drive.

He claims he explained to her how why two DUI’s by a college football player at a Top 25 program was fair game for a column. Rock on dude!! By the way I’m pretty sure that isn’t Luke the drunk in the picture on the left, but he does look like a little hellion.

“I was disappointed in her approach. Particularly that there were 4-5 children present with her, including the youngest Bellotti son, and I didn’t think a working press box was the time or place for a heated discussion, especially given the high emotions and a big game.

She leaned in, grabbed by my suit lapel, and lit into me with a string of expletives, asking me if I have children, and telling me, “This is going to come back on you tenfold.” And she threatened to slap me, which was not such a nice example in front of the kiddies.

I told it was poor form that she would approach me in the press box, with a strong smell of alcohol on her breath, hissing and spitting mad, talking to me about alcohol abuse.

Then, the nanny, still holding the toddler, unleashed a foul-mouthed tirade.

“Nice nanny,” I said.”

The alcohol on her breath line is pure freaking gold. He better beware of the nanny though, they’re under paid as it is, so for a few extra bucks they’re liable to except an assignment of blogger termination.

“During Colleen’s rant, David Williford, Oregon’s sports information director, called a security guard and positioned him near my seat in the press box. I didn’t ask for that, but it allowed me to work. Williford also spoke with Colleen, and later, Williford told a New York Times reporter that her tirade was “certainly uncalled for” and “crossed the line.”

Dude no offense but you look like Moby except add on 20+ years. There’s no shame in asking for help when the coaches wife, alcoholic kid, alcoholic kid’s cum bucket girlfriend and nanny from hell ambushed you in the press box.

“What went down in the press box wasn’t a good, or productive, scene, though. It was surreal…. but mostly it was sad. This isn’t the first time I’ve been confronted by a reader or column subject who was upset at my opinions in a column, (and it won’t be the last). It was just the first time I’ve had it happen during the game, and the first time I’ve had it be a coach’s wife…. and nanny.”

I wish someone would confront me publicly about the stuff I write on this site, I would love that. It would let me know that someone really reads this stuff and most importantly I’ve pushed a button or two. Maybe I should start e-mailing my diatribes against God Steve Spurrier and his lack of discipline, but as anyone seen his wife? I’m not one to talk but if USC was to kidnap Uga, the Georgia mascot, and placed her in his doghouse, no one would notice.

No that isn’t Uga wearing a Gamecock hat.

So I profess on this day 10/30/07.

Maybe if “Chas McCarthy” would learn how to right click and copy image location he would learn that before making asinine comments. However since I researched it, this photo first appeared on “The Carolina Reporter” hence the copyright notice. Chas claims he took the photo however per his employers own terms of service I will not give him the credit but I’ll give his employers credit. Besides I don’t believe him. Any more dumb ass comments Chas?
